About Hope Kitchen

Hope Kitchen is a refugee women-led catering and food program co-founded by DFWROS Director Hiba Tanvir. A talented group of refugee women — bringing the rich culinary traditions of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and beyond — cook and sell authentic halal meals, turning their skills into real income and lasting careers.

What began as a small catering operation has grown into one of DFW's most beloved halal food programs. Every dish is cooked from scratch with the flavors of home — Kabuli Pulao, Chicken Karahi, Chapli Kabab, and more. The food speaks for itself.

Hope Kitchen is more than a meal program — it's an economic empowerment engine. These women build businesses, support their families, and show what's possible. Every order puts money directly in a refugee woman's hands.
